Turn Tracker Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 15, 2026
Turn Tracker helps users manage turn-based room activity. This policy describes what data is processed and how it is used.
Data Collected
- Account identity: email address, display name, Firebase Authentication UID.
- App data: rooms, membership, turn state, room events, invite codes, and user push preferences.
- Device/app technical data: push token (FCM/APNs mapping), client event telemetry used for product diagnostics.
How Data Is Used
- To authenticate users and secure access to their data.
- To power room features (join, turns, nudge, close/restore, admin controls).
- To send push notifications when enabled by the user.
- To detect and fix app quality issues using limited event logs.
Notifications
Users can control notification preferences in-app. If permissions are disabled at the OS level, Turn Tracker cannot deliver notifications.
Data Sharing
Turn Tracker does not sell personal data. Data is processed through Firebase services required for app operation.
Data Retention
- Active account data remains until user deletion or room lifecycle cleanup.
- When a user deletes their account, Turn Tracker removes account-linked app data via backend deletion flows.
Security
Turn Tracker uses Firebase Authentication, Firestore Security Rules, and server-side Cloud Functions to enforce access control and data integrity.
Your Choices
- Update display name and notification preferences in app settings.
- Delete your account from app settings.
